Safe Postpartum Exercise

Congratulations!

Baby has arrived and you are feeling ready to start exercising. Whether you are 6 weeks or 6 months postpartum, this course is designed to educate and inform you on how to return to exercise safely after having baby.

Whilst society may have us believe that we will be ‘back to normal’ after 6 weeks, in reality the majority of women are not ready for pre-pregnancy exercise at 6 weeks postpartum and in fact, some Mums can take up to 2 years to fully recover from birth. This doesn’t mean you cannot exercise, it just means that you may need to move your body in different ways.

Your body has grown and birthed another human. That is amazing! Your body has changed and adapted as baby has grown. You are now recovering from birth and looking after a little one 24/7, often with limited sleep and a diet of tea and toast. So what is best for you now, may be different to pre-pregnancy.

This course covers all the things you need to consider when returning to exercise to ensure you exercise safely and reduce the risk of you experiencing injury, pain or pelvic floor dysfunction.

What’s covered?

  • When to start exercising
  • How to start exercising including safe exercises
  • Pelvic floor dysfunction
  • Abdominal separation (Diastasis recti)
  • Breastfeeding and exercise
  • Returning to running/high impact exercises
  • 4 week safe return to exercise program

Why do I need this?

You’ll gain the knowledge and confidence to move your postpartum body in a safe way.

How much does it cost?

For only $69, you’ll have lifetime access to the course, meaning you can go back to it as and when required, which is especially helpful for following babies.
